API 6A Electric Choke Valve

Electric choke valve is a high‑pressure wellhead electric regulating throttling device. It is widely used at oil & gas wellheads and choke manifolds with working pressure up to 15,000 psi (or even higher). Compared with manual choke valves, this valve uses an electric actuator to drive the internal throttling trim for opening adjustment. Remote electronic control can be realized without on‑site manual operation. Its throttling trim is made of hard‑alloy tungsten carbide material, featuring excellent erosion‑resistance and hydrogen‑sulfide corrosion‑resistance. It can withstand continuous scouring by high‑velocity sand‑laden media and effectively extend the service life of key components. Equipped with valve position feedback device, the valve can send real‑time spool opening signals to the central DCS control system to precisely regulate the pressure and flow of oil‑gas media. It is an ideal option for remote pressure management of oil & gas wells under severe operating conditions both onshore and offshore.
